Create a new project by clicking on “+” button in the upper right corner of your screen.
Select one of our pre-made templates, or start from scratch. You can customize it at any time during the process! If you choose to use a template, click “Use Template” and then “Ok”. When importing a template, you can choose to use it as is or change the size of your project.
Add walls by clicking on the icon that looks like a house. You can then drag and drop them onto the canvas.
To add doors and windows, click on the door or window icon and then draw their outline on the wall.
You can also add furniture and other objects to your plan by clicking on the icons at the bottom of the screen.
To rotate an object, click on it and then drag it around.
When you’re finished, click “Export” to save your project in PDF or JPEG format. You can also share it with others by clicking “Share”.
How do you add a room in Planner 5D?
To add a room, click the “+” button on the left-hand side of your screen. Then choose which room you want to create from one of our preloaded templates or start with a blank space. You can also add rooms through dragging and dropping furniture items in them if they don’t already exist in your project.
Choose how big you want your room to be and drag the walls until they fit. You can also change the height and width of each wall, as well as the shape of your room’s ceiling. Finally, add windows and doors by clicking on the respective icons in our toolbar.
Once your room is created, start adding furniture by either searching for items or browsing our catalogues. All of this can be done through clicking on the furniture icon in our toolbar and choosing either “Search” or “Browse”. You may also drag-and-drop items from the left side menu into your room, which will create new rooms if they don’t already exist.
